This collection of database writings and content are inspired by Date and Darwen's The Third Manifesto, and were produced and curated by participants of the TTM mailing list.
The D2 logo implies "D squared", or "D to the power of D", where D is both the abstract language family defined by The Third Manifesto and a reference to "database". It is also an intentional homage to the C2 Wiki, the first Wiki invented by Ward Cunningham, to which all Wikis owe enormous gratitude.
